Texas Freeze - Damage Due to Prolonged Water Damage

SERVPRO of North Fort Worth had the pleasure of assisting a family that had a situation with a family member.  The family member was unable to take care of the house and was in the hospital.  While she was in the hospital, the freeze took place. 

Their insurance requested our assistance to remove all wet and moldy materials.  This was a challenging situation since the homeowner was a hoarder.  The amount of contents impacted was significant.  The insurance adjuster provided approval to remove all of the belongings. 

After removing all of the belongings, then the work was able to proceed.  The house had been wet for nearly six weeks.  This required most of the building materials to be removed.  It ended up being gutted to the studs.
