Flooded Bathroom in Fort Worth, Texas

Many homeowners don't realize that their insurance policy may not cover flood damage from rising water. In this case, flood water from heavy storms came right in the front door and ran all through the house. This before and after photo shows the leaves and dirt that were left behind. In this project, the SERVPRO of North Fort Worth team extracted water and cleaned up the house, including removing carpet from the bedrooms. The homeowners decided to have the walls dried instead of flood-cut. They plan to replace the damaged drywall and baseboards as a DIY project. Flood damage is very costly for homeowners.
